SMASH Burgers | The Quarantine Cook
INGREDIENTS
- 80/20 ground beef
-Potato bun
-American Cheese
-Mayo
-Ketchup
-Pickled relish
METHOD
-Loosely pack meat into balls
-Preheat a pan on med-high heat
-Place meat on pan (no butter or oil added)
-Smash down on meat until thin (don’t worry if it breaks up, this is where you’ll get all those gnarly crispy bits)
-Cook 2 min & flip (make sure to get all the way underneath the meat and scrape hard with spatula) -Flip and top with cheese( don’t worry if the meat falls apart a little, the cheese will hold it together
-Mix 2 Tbsp mayo with 1 Tbsp of ketchup and relish
-Stack your burgers and eat that shit
